SWL rural show programme unveiled for 2024


Scottish Woodlands Ltd has announced its continued participation in the UK’s major agricultural shows throughout 2024.


The company will showcase its expertise and services at events across Scotland, and in Wales and Northern Ireland, where staff will welcome landowners, farmers, and industry professionals to discuss a range of rural issues.


The schedule of events is:


1. Balmoral Show: 15-18 May, Balmoral Park, Lisburn, Northern Ireland;
2. ScotSheep: 5 June, Aikengall Farm, Innerwick, near Dunbar, East Lothian;
3. Royal Highland Show (Forestry Arena Sponsor): 20-23 June, Ingliston, Edinburgh;
4. Scottish Game Fair (Woodland Row Sponsor): 5-7 July, Scone Palace, Perth;
5. Royal Welsh Show: 22-25 July, Builth Wells, Wales;
6. Black Isle Show: 31 July-1 August, Mannsfield Showground, Muir of Ord;
7. Moy County Fair: 2-3 August, Moy Estate, near Inverness;
8. Turriff Show: 4-5 August, The Haughs, Queen's Road, Turriff and
9. Lochaber Show: 24 August, Castle Farm, Happy Valley, Torlundy, Fort William.

 


At each event, Scottish Woodlands' experienced team will be on hand to discuss the company's wide range of services, including woodland creation, forest management, timber harvesting, and woodland and peatland carbon issues.

 


Visitors to the Scottish Woodlands stand will have the opportunity to learn about the latest advancements in sustainable forestry practices and how they can enhance the value of their land and business.

Scottish Woodlands Ltd will also be represented at the Scottish Land & Estates (SLE) Annual Conference, taking place on 21 May at The Assembly Rooms in Edinburgh.
