What you will be doing...
Based out of our Perth office, key duties will involve working closely with our existing Carbon team on peatland restoration projects and the development of new business.
Applicants should have...
An in-depth understanding of Peatland Restoration; designing Peatland Restoration project portfolios; experience of conducting feasibility surveys; peat depth surveys; peatland condition assessments; appraisals; previous experience of managing projects from start to finish, and the capability to work with our existing Carbon and Investment team, as well as working on your own initiative in this fast-paced environment. Experience of Peatland Code field survey protocol would be desirable.
Demonstrable operational experience and an Environmental degree-based qualification would be advantageous but not a pre-requisite. This position may also suit someone with a forestry, geography, agricultural or rural surveying qualification or who has the relevant experience. You should have a professional acumen, be commercially aware and possess excellent communication and organisation skills. Demonstrable experience of working with contractors, project management and health & safety management are also essential for the role.
