Staff from Scottish Woodlands Ltd will be out in force during one of the busiest weeks of the rural show season - attending three different events within 5 days!

Managing Director Ian Robinson will lead a 5-strong Scottish Woodlands team at the Black Isle Show, which starts this afternoon in Muir of Ord, with the main day tomorrow [Thursday].

He will also attend the Moy Country Fair, which takes place on Friday and Saturday (August 2nd and 3rd) at the Moy Estate, south of Inverness. Fellow Directors David Robertson and Neil Crookston will be among 12 staff attending one of the primary events in the field sports calendar.

Finally, the spotlight turns to Aberdeenshire for the ever-popular Turriff Show, where 10 Scottish Woodlands staff will attend the busy event, which takes place on Sunday 4th and Monday 5th August.

Neil Crookston, Director for the North of Scotland for Scottish Woodlands Ltd, said: “This is a busy and important week in the show season, and for our business. Each show has a different flavour and focus, but they all offer great opportunities for Scottish Woodlands to engage with lots of people from across the rural sector, and hear about their priorities.”

“We have a wide range of different staff at each event to ensure we can help clients old and new - and anyone else from the rural world - with all kinds of issues related to forests and woods.”

Mr Crookston, who will be at the Turriff Show on Monday, features in a Scottish Woodlands video which explains the value of rural shows. In the film, shot at the 2024 Royal Highland Show, he describes the different character of all of the rural events. Watch the film here.
