SWL staff star in film at Highland Show
Scottish Woodlands Ltd has created a short video to explain the importance of the Royal Highland Show to its work - and to the wider rural sector.
The film was made on the first day of the show at Ingliston, in and around the busy Forestry Arena, which is sponsored by Scottish Woodlands Ltd. A range of activities in the arena feature in the film, including pole climbing, axe throwing and chainsaw carving.
Eddie Addis and Dan Wilson from Scottish Woodlands Ltd took part in the pole climbing, while a wide range of SWL staff also tried their hand at axe throwing.
David Robertson, SWL's Director of Investment and Business Development, said: "It's really important to be at the Royal Highland Show and to meet people involved in the rural sector - and have some really rounded discussions and conversations. It's also great fun!"
The company has published its summer newsletter, packed with information about its people and its work, which is being shared with visitors to the show.
Scottish Woodlands Ltd can be found at stand 337A on 4th Avenue, next to the Forestry Arena - and will be there to chat about any aspect of forestry until the show closes on Sunday.
