SWL Announces Rural Show Programme for 2025
Scottish Woodlands Ltd has announced its continued participation in major agricultural shows across the UK throughout 2025.
The company's staff will be present at significant rural events across Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland to engage with landowners, farmers, and industry professionals on rural matters. The events will provide a platform to showcase the company's expertise and services.
The 2025 schedule includes a variety of agricultural shows and events:
- Highlandsheep at Midfearn Farm in Ardgay, Ross-shire, June 11.
- Royal Highland Show (forestry arena sponsor) at Ingliston, Edinburgh, June 19-22.
- Scottish Game Fair at Scone Palace, Perthshire, July 4-6 (situated within Scottish Land & Estates marquee).
- Royal Welsh Show at Builth Wells, July 21-24.
- Perth Show at South Inch, Perth, August 1-2.
- Turriff Show at The Haughs, Queen's Road, Turriff, Aberdeenshire, August 3-4.
- Black Isle Show at Mannsfield, Muir of Ord, August 6-7.
- Moy Country Fair at Moy Mains, Inverness, August 8-9.
The Scottish Woodlands team will be present at each event to discuss their wide range of services. These include woodland creation, forest management, timber harvesting, and woodland and peatland carbon issues.
The company's stand at the Royal Welsh Show will be manned by staff from Flintshire Woodlands, the trading arm of Scottish Woodlands in Wales and the West of England.
Visitors to the company’s stands at all the shows can learn about the latest advancements in sustainable forestry practices and how to enhance the value of their land and business. At the Royal Highland Show, Scottish Woodlands Ltd will again sponsor the Forestry Arena, which features a range of activities including pole climbing, axe throwing and chainsaw carving.
