Four finalists in SWL changing attitudes award
Four contenders are in the running to be honoured for their efforts in promoting a better understanding of the forestry and wood industry.
Scottish Woodlands Ltd has been the sponsor of the Changing Attitudes award since it was introduced to the Confor Awards Dinner - and this year, the 4th winner of the award will be revealed on March 12th.
The four finalists for the award are: Tomorrow’s Forests; Timber Talks by Tilhill; Emyr Parker from Tilhill; and Jillian Kennedy from Scottish Woodlands Ltd.
Tomorrow’s Forests and Timber Talks have been shortlisted for their work to create video content which explains the work of the industry very clearly to a broader audience, while Emyr Parker has made the final for his work in promoting forestry as an exciting modern career choice for young people. Jillian Kennedy, a Forest Manager with Scottish Woodlands Ltd, is on the shortlist for her work in building strong connections between the farming and forestry communities.
