Scottish Woodlands is prioritising the safety and wellbeing of our residents, staff, and contractors during the COVID-19 pandemic.
In order to halt the spread of COVID-19, Scottish Woodlands has made the difficult decision to suspend all maintenance on our developments. This is not only to protect our residents and staff, but also to follow the Government directive “The Health Protection (Coronavirus) Regulations 2020” made effective on the 23rd March. The government was clear that any non-essential work should cease with the situation being reviewed on an ongoing basis as the pandemic evolves.
As soon as the current restrictions are lifted Scottish Woodlands will ensure that the areas, we maintain are brought back up to our normal maintenance standard. In line with the Government guidelines regarding the staying at home and social distancing we would also ask our residents, however well intentioned, not to carry out any maintenance or upkeep of open spaces themselves.
Furthermore, in accordance with Government guidance, we have temporarily closed all our Play Areas. We kindly ask you to adhere to our request not to use these facilities: this is for the welfare of you and your loved ones.
Our customer care team is working with reduced resources; however, our team are available by e: mail and we would ask that all communication is routed by this method. Our e:mail address is: customer.care@scottishwoodlands.co.uk
Whilst normal payment methods will continue for the time being, you can rest assured that none of our residents will be charged for the time when the maintenance has been stopped. We will ensure the interruption in routine maintenance is detailed fully on your next annual bill. We would also ask that if residents are experiencing any financial difficulties that they contact us. We will endeavour to assist you.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you in advance for your understanding and support during this period.
